University in Sault Ste Marie where I obtained my Honours Bachelor of Social Work (cum laude) with
a Minor in Law in 2016. I found my passion for community wellness and healing through my education and professional experiences and have learned to truly appreciate the north. Through my professional experience thus far I have obtained over 850 hours of training and education through
several different organizations such as Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) where I obtained my certification for Opioid Use Dependence Treatment (OUDT). Through Thunderbird partnership Foundation (TPF) I am a trained facilitator for the Cannabis Education for First Nations (CEFN) certificate program. As an active member of the OCSWSSW it is imperative to continue
education and training to maintain current best standards of practice with relevant and current
research/data.
I am beyond grateful for the amazing mentors, supervisors, coworkers, along with Grandmother, elders, and Traditional Healers and Knowledge Keepers who shared with me throughout Treaty 9. I carry these teachings and lessons with a grateful heart, sharing openly and honestly to best support
my clients.
I look forward to working with you!
